AMD A10-6800K APU (4x 4.10GHZ/4MB L2 Cache)
8 GB [4 GB X2] DDR3-1600 Memory Module
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 - 2GB - Single Card
GIGABYTE GA-F2A88XN-WIFI ITX MB
500 Watt - FSP 1U 80 Plus Gold Certificated Power Supply
1 TB HARD DRIVE -- 32M Cache, 7200 RPM, 6.0Gb/s
Default Motherboard Integrated 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0

I'm buying a Gaming PC soon, and wondering if this is the right choice to make. Thanks for taking the time to read my thread. If not, would a 260x be better than the 760? Trying to stay around $1000.

Solution
Most certainly, the a10 you have can play on high with 45-50 FPS and with a 760, you should get at least 80-100 fps on ultra with no v-sync. My friend have a core i5 3800k and a 760 and he get 90 fps on ultra without v-sync. But for record, the a10 6800k has integrated graphics that are WAY better than intels, but you have a pretty good deal doing that, BUT I recommend using amd cards with amd CPU because there can be errors with AI and physics because amd does not support physx so the gpu and CPU will sometimes generate the same physic at once causing your game to crash. Plus if you are getting nvidia with amd CPU, there we be many performance errors and sometimes fps drops by the 10s so I do recommend amd with amd
