usb 3.0 you need to change some hardware and it also depends on your mobo, to achieve true usb 3.o your mobo needs to usb 3.0 compliant with the ports on the mobo. there are other ways but all involve adding some hardware

It depends on the motherboard , buy a new mobo of 2013 or 2014 from there u can get at least 2 or 3 SS USB 3.0 ports

if your mobo has a usb 3.0 port on it( not external) then you need either to get a 5.25 drive that extends usb 3.0 ports or a new case that has usb 3.0 ports... if your mobo is usb 3.0 compliant it should have at least 2 usb 3.0 on the rear i/o panel(they are blue) however you cannot turn a usb 2.0 external port into a usb 3.0 port

Yes USB 2.0 port cannot be converted to USB 3.0
