will you be wanting to overclock in the future? if so i would go for the i5 4670k but if you want to get this cpu you would need a different mobo, if your not looking to overclock you could get the i5 4570 with this motherboard or the cpu you have put as there wont be much difference :)

it depends if you are on a budget then i would get the 4570 but if you can afford it the 4670, there isnt a huge difference in performance that i know of so either would be a good cpu to go for :)  It will work in the config but it is quite old so it will hold you back in games abit, but either one of those cpus will be a good building block for a later upgrade of your gpu, so in short yes but you wont get the maximum you can get from you cpu in games and would be best to upgrade when you can :)  also you do know the motherboard is micro atx board?

What's your budget? And what's your current CPU and motherboard (to determine whether the upgrade is necessary)?

my budget's 21k INR ($345).My current config is quite old..Core 2 duo 2.2ghz & Asus P5QPL-AM mb..so you see it's more than necessary :p

i prefer MSI H87-G43 Gaming than the Gigabyte H87m d3h. in my country, the MSI price is $3 more then the gigabyte.

better looks and better size (ATX vs Micro ATX) than Gigabyte H87m-d3h. but the gigabyte have 4 USB 3.0 slot and 2 USB 2.0 in the back. the MSI have only 2 USB 3.0 and 6 USB 2.0 in the back.

i have the msi g45 board which i do like, but do you need a micro atx? i think msi do do a micro atx gaming mobo :)  also with the ddr3 i suggest getting that when you can as it will hold you back but dont worry to much about the speed of the ram as the mobo you are looking at only supports up to 1600mhz which is plenty enough for gaming :)
