I dont have any backup. If i would have i would already reinstall my windows.. But the pictures are my life, it worth any try.
These scammers keep a private key on their servers and will only release it once you pay.
In many cases even after paying they will not give you the key anyway.
I know from experience as a repair technician that this is a common issue that is almost impossible to troubleshoot.
The virus assigns your PC with a public key that
must link up with their private key. Only once you have the private key can the decryption begin.
These people are using incredibly complex algorithms that would take years to crack.
I cannot tell you what to do as I really can't sway your opinion.
