My monitor suddenly loses power(no green or orange light).After a few seconds when i switch on the power button it turns on again only to lose power after sometime. I have checked the power cable on another monitor and it works fine.What may be the problem?

Try the Acer monitor on a different computer. If you get the same problem then the monitor is faulty.
