I have recently bought a gtx 780, and when I play battlefield 4, I get frames from 25-35 frames on ultra on a map like Zavod 311 or a new map like Gulf of Oman 2014(I get 20-30 fps on Gulf of Oman 2014). Is there a way to boost my fps, because I see people with 60+ on ultra with a gtx 780, or did I just get a poor card for bf4? So if/is there ant=y was I can boost my performance, or should I try to return this card is go for a r9?

Specs:

Cpu: AMD fx 4150
Ram: 8gb Corsair, 2gb random(I got it from another computer build I was doing)
Mobo: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX
Hard-drive: 1TB(I believe it is a seagate)
OS: Win 7 Ultimate
PSU: Antec 650w
GPU: EVGA gtx780 3gb

*I have updated my gtx780 drivers to 334, but I know there is a new one, 335.23, and I will update that, but will it do much?

I'm not sure about this. But I think your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU. I'd suggest you to upgrade your CPU.

I think you mean "The CPU is bottlenecking the GPU."

And I would agree.

BF4 requires a hefty CPU to play multiplayer. I suggest a 8350 FX to fully support a 780 GTX.

Oh, sorry for that. It's fixed now, thank you for correcting me.

So will the new CPU fix the low fps issues or is there some other things I have to worry about?

An 8320 would be a good fit price/performance.

Yes the 8350 should fix your FPS issues.

I would normally agree. However for the 780 GTX, a fast CPU is needed. Just look at the performance difference with a single 680 and 7970.

A 8320 will easily OC past a 8350. It is a much better value, but if the OP is not going to OC...a 8350 would the one to get.

Yes. But if you can OC an 8320, you can also OC an 8350. Again, normally I'm agreeing with you. But with a 780, I'd pay the $40 premium and push the 8350 higher than the 8320 can go.
