Hello,
I am soon to start my first PC build and I was going to use the Intel i7 4820k, then I was going to either use the Asus P9X79 or Asus Sabertooth X79 depending on how much money I have in the next couple of weeks, but it has come to my attention that there are compatibility issues with the BIOS, I'm not sure if this is still true or not, but if it is I was hoping someone on the forums here would have some sort of clue? and what to do to fix these problems?

Thank you in advance :)

Both have USB Flashback, so can update the BIOS w/ no problem

love asus but never been a fan of the sabertooth line. to many bad reviews about quality on new egg...though i personally never had one. had a friend build around a p9x79 and he was very happy with the build. hope that helps some.

Might also look at the new Asus X79 Deluxe, which is a great board, just released late in 13 for the new CPUs
