  1. The 260x is fine for your system.
  2. you will be fine with PCI 2.0, the performance difference is like 0-2% between 3.0 and 2.0, so don't worry about it you will be fine with that card.
  3. Mostly the reason why im asking, is because ive been seeing reviews of people doing what im about to do and having problems with the card, causing freezes and black screens. I really dont feel like messing with any of that lol

the difference between pci 3.0 and 2.0 is the bandwidth , that card won't fully use the bandwidth of PCI 2.0 so you will have no issues. And the 4300 and 260x are a good match up performance wise.

Ive been with this forum for little under a week, thus far i am loving the quick responses and the fact that most not all but most of the people on here are very knowledgeable about this stuff. I am new to the field, with me only having 4 months of exp. So thank you!!
  6. NP, happy to help out!
  7. Sorry to interrupt your thread, but since its here, can I ask if the r7 260x would have an almost similar performance to my FX 4100? Just want to know if its good, then I will get it first. :D
