big fps drop?!

i buildt a pc a couple weeks ago and got about 100fps on cs:go with high settings and randomly one day i got about 30fps! Even if i change to low settings i get almost no diffrence. is my video card broken or is it something else? (i have a radeon 270x).

Maybe you lock the 30fps in the settings in the game?do you experience this in other games?

Update your drivers to catalyst 14.2 beta or 13.2 if temps are ok. Also it's possible to enable vsync in catalyst which overrides the games, maybe youve accidently done that?

I think your having a bad temp like rgd1101 said,you can use Speedfan http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php to check the temp of the cpu,don't know if this support the gpu temp so if it doesn't you can use gpu-z http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

Run your games then alt+tab then check your temps,tell us what the result is!

it was turned off so i still didn't get my fps back to normal
