Cannot access trendnet tew-651BR router.

My problem is quite strange.

I have internet connection to desktop pc but cant access router to set up WiFi.

I can ping my router trendnet tew-651BR. My Default gateway is 192.168.1.254, but it should be default 192.168.10.1.

Any suggest ?

did you try with the browser top line for the default gateway if this is not working reset it .

Already tried default gateway and other ip-s and restarted router. Also i cant set up dhpc after connecting able to access router page. Error i get isbsomething with dns. Also i have tried to set factory settings, still nothing.

they had a firware update in 2012 for dns issue http://www.trendnet.com/downloads/list_subcategory.asp?SUBTYPE_ID=1367 also the had version 2.or now for this router the first one is discontinued and the emulator show how to set it .

Gona try it. I found 2011 year firmware update and that failed :/

Well that update didn't work, but found other firmware update. Still didn't fix. I just gave up and bought new router. Everything works perfectly now. Also that trendnet had bad web controll panel.

witch one did you bought and you could keep the trednet to play with you may find a way to get in .

I got way in but then cant start dhcp and it says something dns problem. Also kept router to mess with it if nothing els to do.

New router tb-link tl-wr741nd.

nice one , for the dns i would check the network settings on the computer to see under the tcp/ip property if the dns and ip are on auto and the same for the alternate configuratio fro private ip then check the advance settings is dhcp is mark active after under dns both suffix for principal and parents dns with registration for suffix in the dns they have to be check then under wins thelmost and default net bios also ,this should work .

Well in windows network settings i tried all. My isp dns and google dns. Nothing didnt work.
Also used after every change ipconfig /release and /renew.
And everything worked with new router.
I think its more about router problem.

Hi: well I guess you never got the router to work? I am trying to set one up and I have the same problem I have internet but can't set up the wifi. I can access 192.168.10.1 when the router is not connected but not when it is connected. It is wasting my time!! I think my solution is get a new router!!

@ thelma_tingle your wireless device mac address should be in the router permit list to coneect to it and acces the net see your router user manual for this .
