Hello and thank you for reading this topic.

Since a month now my laptop is randomly freezing and rebooting. The make and model of my laptop is Acer 7551G-xxxxxxxxmn. As a booting device I have the Crucial m4 120gb SSD and my secondary disk is a 500GB hitachi harddisk. Below is a list of solutions and checks that I already performed:

- Got the latest firmware for my SSD.
- All the Windows updates are installed.
- checked RAM with memtest68+ (latest) got 1 pass.
- switched to new RAM
- checked SMART data of harddisk and SSD - turned out fine.
- installed all factory drivers(old ones included)
- installed the latest AMD driver for the HD5470m graphics card(also tried beta drivers)

Thank you for your response! I installed the hotfix as mentioned in this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2719594/en-us, the other one was for Windows XP but as im speaking I am searching for the Windows 7 solution for this.

I will test if the hotfix is the solution. Ill report back when it happens again!
