i recently built a new gaming rig with my first amd/apu.. fail.. i got the 2400mhz ram installed all the drivers.. got a good heatsink and fan.. but when i run a game such as cs go i run low frames.. even on low quality.. very skippy and choppy and un playable.. there for im not happy with my first amd and apu cpu.. but im stuck with it.. so i need a card around $60-120 that will work good with my set up.. please respond with your suggestion a benchmark and a direct link to the card on newegg.com appreciate all responses except the ignorant ones, thanks!

Get the EVGA GTX 750 Ti Sc an you will be very pleased. It will make your games go from low settings with 10 fps average all the way up to ultra settings 30-60 fps consistent (depending on what game you play of course) several video on youtube show you how well it makes an APU perform.

Pros of this card
- No 6 pinn connector so you won't need to upgrade PSU
- Only 6 inches in length so it should fit in your case no matter what you have
- Runs all the newest games. Some on Ultra an most on High you will be pleased
- Quiet an cool an very low power consumption
- Its sexy lol an only cost $150-190 USD

Cons of this card

- Its not the highest of high end but it will make you feel like you are part of the gaming community
- It is dual...
i'd suggest either a 750ti, or an amd 250, whichever is cheaper for you. Honestly i'm too lazy to list benchmarks or prices, and all you really need to do for yourself is to google the two. the 750ti is more expensive, but performs quite a bit better than the amd 250, as well as uses much less power. If you cannot affor the 750ti, the regular 750 is also a good option

any gpu under $100 is going to be a waste of money, as the graphics processor on your apu will typically be just as good.

not trying to be ignorant, just trying to give you a rough area of what gpu to look at for your system.

- It is dual slot so take that into consideration when purchasing make sure you have the space on the back of tower
- It is hard to find in stores an online. Newegg.com should have them
- There are several other options that probably out do this one in raw horsepower but this card boast a good amount of the best stuff you can get at this price with other pros that the higher end cards of the same price can't offer (look at pros of card)

Why the sad face? 40-55 FPS with an APU is very nice considering Xbox one an PS4 only get 30 on almost all the games they have. Excluding a select few like Forza 5 that run at 60 fps but that's because they are very optimized.

No 100 FPS is a lot higher than 40-50 but anything above 30FPS is good enough to play games smoothly. Xbox One an PS4 are in the 30-60 FPS range an you see how smooth they are. Anything higher than 60FPS is basically just eye candy. You aren't going to notice a big difference when going above that. Human eyes can only handle so much before it become irrelevant.

Also Xbox One an PS4 both run on APU architecture. So if you can manage 30-60 FPS in a game you are doing just fine. No reason to go out an spend a ton of money on something that goes above that. Unless of course you are just into computers like some people are into cars. Cars going down a drag strip at amazing times is pointless on the everyday commute. Same with computers. There comes a point when spending more money is just personal preference an a show off statement to others.
