So i asked this a little while back and got an answer to reinstall my sound drivers but this problem reappeared. So i'm playing (smite) and have a call going on wih my friends (skype) and then when i'm in the game playing all the sound dies including windows sound, skype and smite. I then proceed to unplug my headphones and plug them in again, change the default sound device to my speakers and then to my headphones again and it works for a while until it cuts out again. I have my headphones (gamecom plantronics 380) connected to my keyboard (logitech g110). Before i got my new card (sapphire r9 280x vapor-x) it was working fine. Oh and my sound properties take a looong time to open. IDK what the proble is here so please help me out.
Thanks in advance.

Solution
Revisiting all my past problems. The problem was caused by the AMD audio drivers. If you have this problem go to playback devices and disable all the AMD audio outputs, UNLESS you are using your monitor/tv speakers over hdmi. Fixed this problem a long time ago with this fix.
NOTE: This was on windows 7, on windows 10 it works perfectly fine, atleast for me :)
Cheers
