My grandparents have a 10 year old desktop that stopped working awhile ago and recently had me take a look on the inside. I wasn't quite sure what it was that is faulty, but if I had to guess it's either the PSU or the HDD itself. However, I'm up on vacation with them and can't just plug it into my desktop and see. They need to get some data off of it. It is not even a Serial ATA, it is a UDMA 100. The model number for it is Seaate U series 9 st3120025A . Anyone have an idea what could be done to get the data off of it?
