  1. Definitely could use a GPU upgrade. What do you do with it?
  2. All you need to do is upgrade the graphics card. R9 270x is my recommendation. Everything else is great! I give it an 7.5 out of 10. But for the money, it's a quality build

Thanks :D I was told that my GPU was the only thing I needed to upgrade. Would my PSU handle an R9 270x?

Probably, but you might want to consider a GTX 660. Draws less power and has about the same performance for $80-100 less.
  6. Not the same, the r9 270x is better than the gtx 660. Another one id recommend is the gtx 750 ti if you have a budget. Or an msi gtx 760 itx because it's priced really low right now at 249.99 on newegg. It's easily a $350 card.
  7. Anything that is cheaper and substantially more powerful than my current GPU I would definitely consider

Then go with the gtx 750 ti, it's priced around $160 right now and it will increase your performance, you'll be able to play games like bf4 and Crysis 3 with medium to high settings.

    Hi -
Personally, I'm a Corsair fan, but I would only consider the CX models for a basic build. From Corsair's website, the CX is rated for 30 degC, or about 86 degF. Your case is likely to be warmer than that inside, and it will impact your PSU's ability to output the power you need. Corsair actually does a good job explaining this on their website, and here's a link to their comparison chart:
