I just bought a new gigabyte z87X-HD3 motherboard, and an intel i5 4670k.For some reason it is running extremely slow.
I open up WoW, with everything on low settings, and I get about 10 frames per second, I check task manager and all 4 cores are running at 100%.

Why is running so terribly? I saw on another tech review site that their i5 4670k ran 35 frames per second on low settings, so something has to be wrong with my setup. Any help would be appreciated!

What's your DRAM, are you OCed at all? Was the reviewer? could be a lot of things, I'd OC to at least 4GHz and see what happens (should take no more than change the multiplier to 40, shouldn't have to play with any voltages)

I'm waiting to install my graphics card until later. The problem is the tech reviewer got 35 FPS with ONLY the cpu and intel hd 4600. So there has to be something wrong with mine?

What resolution are you running the game at? The reviewer may have been running it at 720p.

What are your temperatures? Are you overclocking it? Was the reviewer overclocking it? If so remember that some chips overclock better than others... What about Ram? Mobo? HDs?

I would double check three things right off the bat:

1) Chipset drivers
2) SATA controller drivers
3) Graphics drivers

Are you connecting to your graphics card using DVI, or HDMI?
