I know there's a DDR3 and GDDR5 of the 8750 so what is the difference between them ? and how do they effect performance and texture ?
and on the other hand the 740m has a 1gb and 2gb (as far as i know) so Which is better from these four according to performance and texture ?
I'm buying a notebook in the i5 budget and i want to use it for gaming and graphics.
I don't care much about textures rather than performance .
thanks in advance :D .
sorry, Forgot to add that the notebook with AMD has a 4th generation i5 processor 4200m and 6gb RAM on the other notebook it has a 3rd generation i5 processor (i cannot recall what it was) and 4gb ram if that could help.

the gddr5 will be a little faster, although very hard to tell. i have not had any experience with the 8750, but have had some with the 740m. it will do the job for gaming, especially on a 1600x900 screen, on low to medium settings.

Thanks for the replies.
well, it's about 100% of people saying it's the 740m, but which is more important the memory clock speed or the GPU clock speed ? (I'm mean the the one that could give me a greater boost in FPS cause that's all i care about . I have an Intel HD Graphics at the moment XD).
when i look at the AMD it has 4k MHz in memory but lower in GPU clock speed ( correct me if the term is wrong :D ) on the other hand the Nvidia has only 1.8k MHz in memory but 30% higher in GPU clock speed .

the comparison is done on equivalent laptops also the performance of the gpu's depends on the vendors chosen implementation. the specs may differ. post the links of the laptops

The Hp one here : http://egyptlaptop.com/hp-probook-450-g1-core-i5-4th-generation-6g-ram-1tb-ati-2g-dos.html
Lenovo : http://egyptlaptop.com/lenovo-ideapad-z500-1.html
sorry if there's no much details.

well wat is the price of the HP? are they on the same price? also the HP needs windows, do you have any avaliable?you could make use of the extra memory though!anyway performance wisely they wont be that different so i would buy the cheaper. if they have the same price i would choose the hp with the extra memory.

They are the same price about 5k LE ( 700-720$ ), the HP being sold also has a win 8, i think everything is equivalent but VGA, CPU, RAM and also Lenovo has 750gb HD not 1tb as mentioned on the site , i also have windows 7 and 8 so it's no problem if any of them has DOS .

I think I'll yup , go for the HP cause there's a slight diff in VGA but a noticeable change in other stuff .

thanks for your help :D .
