I'm building my first computer that is going to be used for mostly gaming. I wonder if this is a good combination for a gaming. I want to be able to play etc. BF4 and Arma 3 on max settings. Here's the specs:

Processor:
Intel i5 Quad Core 3,4 GHz

Video Card:
Nvida Gainward Geforce GTX 770 2 GB VRAM 1,1 MHz

Memory:
16 GB (8*2)

OS:
Windows 7 64 bit

I'll also have 140 GB SDD disc and 1TB HDD disk and a cheap motherboard

I am trying to build my own gaming computer, too, and i have chosen a gtx760 (EVGA GeForce GTX 760 4GB or Gigabyte GeForce GTX760 2GB WindForce 3X OC) and a normall motherboard(either ASrock B85 killer or Asus H87M-E) with the same cpu (intel core i5-4670 3,4 ghz) and i have a normal monitor(neither bad nor very good, just good). I think you shouldn't get a cheap motherboard, especially if you want to overclock it. I personally can't afford gtx770 but i think that gtx760 is a great option for me. Generally i think your build is really good but honestly dont try to save money by buying a cheap motherboard. I personally suggest you to buy ASRock Fatal1ty Z87 Killer if u can afford it.
