You can upgrade your GPU, but your CPU will become the bottleneck.

Not sure if an i3 is enough to handle a 760, or if the 750 Ti will have the same performance because of it.

I have to agree with Kelthar. For that money the 760 is hands down the best choice; however it won't shine as your CPU will be bottlenecking your games. You have 2 paths:

1- Still go for the 760, hang in there with the bottleneck until you can upgrade your CPU.
2- Get a cheaper card like the 750/750Ti which and keep the savings towards a better CPU.

If you are not planning on buying a new mobo+CPU anytime soon, you can get the GTX 660.

There are two questions for you to answer, basically:

If you buy a new GPU, when are you getting a new mobo+CPU?

This year? Get a 760.

Next year or later? Would you be willing to get a new GPU at that time to maximize performance (250$), and a "cheaper" (150$) one now?

If yes, get a 660 or 750Ti now. If not, get a 760, it'll still be good next year and the following.
