First of all I will give you my current specs:
CPU:Amd a10 5700 @3.4ghz
Integrated GPU:Radeon HD 7660D
PSU:Internal ATX 300W
RAM:10gb
Model number: p7-1240

If you have played Arma or the dayz mod you know that its a very demanding game. Even very good rigs struggle with dayz and this is why i am not out to max out the game, i just want good fps on even low graphics. Currently when i play the dayz mod i can get 40 fps sometimes when outside of cities and by myself but when im in gunfights in the city i can drop to 7-10 fps at times which makes it unplayable. I play at full 70 people servers cuz thats the only way its fun but my internet is very good. I am at the lowest of qualities and tried literally everything to improve fps to at least 25 fps when in cities in gunfights. This is why i realized i needed to upgrade to get better fps but im not sure what to upgrade. Firstly i am canadian (more taxes and expensive shit), secondly i only buy from bestbuy.ca cuz i can return products without a problem and i have a $175 bestbuy gift certificate from parties and this is why i would prefer to choose option number 1 cuz i wouldnt have to pay extra but if its not a good choice im willing to pay extra for either option 2 or 3. Now here are my optoons i came up with.

1) buy a Radeon HD 7750 for $135 without having to replace my psu.

2) I can buy a better gpu the R7 260X or 650 ti but here's the catch, i would have to buy a psu, i already found a 430W corsair psu for $57.99. Now this option is a lot more expensive and im not too sure if its worth it, you guys tell me. This option with both the psu and gpu would be $244 for the r7 260x, or $241 for the Gtx 650ti (basically the same price for either)

3) A lot of people say dayz mod is a very cpu intensive game but i think my cpu is half decent, but this is the highest cpu i can upgrade to with my current motherboard and i am not willing to upgrade motherboard. The A10 6800K is my highest upgrade with my current mobo, this would cost $220, this is the only product that is from tigerdirect i have listed cuz there arent any cpus at best buy i can upgrade to.

So which one should i get? Which one would give me the best fps improvement? Would the 7750 allow me to get more than 25fps even in cities and gunfights? How about the R7 260X or gtx 650ti? Which ones better the r7 260x or 650ti? Or is my cpu not enough and i would have to get a10 6800k. Feel free to give me any other options as well if u want. What settings would i be able to run with and what fps? Also i would like to play this at atleast 25fps and no lower. Thanks guys!!!
P.s would overclocking.be a good idea, can it damage my computer?

Solution
Not sure if you have bought parts yet but here is an answer. My old PC had an HD 7750 and FX 6100 and would lag in DayZ, it might of gotten a little better FPS then the APU you have but not by much. So I'd suggest a GTX 750 since it only needs a 300w PSU I think. Also if DayZ is CPU intensive I'd get a new motherboard with an Intel CPU. My current PC GTX 760, I5 4440, 8gb Ram runs 60 FPS outside cities, and 30+ with ocational drops to the teens in cities while on normal setting.
Hope this helped.

I get much better fps on an a8 5600k, the igp is sensitive to ram, what ram do you have exactly? Is it dual channel? A graphics card would be a big improvement though, even a ddr5 7750, then ram wont matter as much.

Upgrading your gpu would make the most difference, I used a 260x it does well playable fps on 1080, good settings with a similar cpu to yours. Also consider the new 750ti, its power draw is really low and beats the r260x by little in reviews, you might get away with your own psu and 750ti have a look.

This looks like an amazing card! I really would get it but its not in bestbuy or futureshop! I dont know why, it should be! Isnt it a new.card? Thats probably why its not in many stores, its not even in the u.s bestbuy. I will probably wait it out then. Hows the 7750 though? What fps would i get on low, medium and high settings in a full 70 people server on gunfights and in cities?

Or I could get the 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 which is faster and will improve my performance in two different areas, ram and gpu.

That's half true, the graphics card will only improve performance graphics wise, because it is dedicated itself and it has it's own onboard RAM that has mind blowing speeds. However, a GPU won't affect the RAM aspects side of computing as the graphics card doesn't use it.

So here are few choices:
• Buy a faster ram (one I suggested above is fine, or you can get corsair's fast rams) to achieve a higher FPS at lower costs and if you wish to not fiddle much with your computer, or;
• as you said, buy a graphics card (if you have the budget to) so that it is dedicated and can achieve raw performance instead of being APU dependant plus you can do dual graphic mode, combining both APU and graphic power together (AMD graphic cards only)

DayZ standalone or mod? Did you keep your CPU?

20 fps at lowest? That sucks. If you can, get a i3 with hyperthreading, thats what my friend runs on. i3 3320, HD 7770.
