Hello Everyone. My First Build so please be gentle. I am down to the last piece for my build. My question is the about the CPU cooler:

Issue #1:
I like the idea of water cooling but I am afraid of leaks.

Issue #2:
I like the reviews for the NH-D14 but I have issues with the color of the fans.

Issue #3:
I like the 212 EVO because I think that I could switch out the fans and not change the cooling abilities too much if at all (2 fans in push/pull).

Please help [ I have a lot of issues :) ]. Thank you.

#1 A reasonable fear. Google "H100 leaks"

#2/3 Personally, to me pretty is as pretty does.
Bot if color means something to you check out thePhanteks top end coolers; they come in a wide variety of coolers and the coolers are about as effective as the NH-D14.

On your build, save $100 by using a i5-4670K and spend it on upgrading to a GTX760 or even GTX770. You will game better.

Thank you geofelt. I will look into Phanteks. Do you have a specific Phanteks model suggestion(s)? I purchased my 4770k from BestBuy for $265usd as a price match. But I will be considering the GTX760 now. Thanks again.

Does anyone have any more comments for my above-mentioned issues?

I use the Noctua nh-d14, one thing is it is insanely large. It surprisingly looks ok in the case however a darker fan would look better for aesthetic reasons. I haven't stressed my computer however yet due to it just recently being built. My CPU is @ 3.9 automatically and loads of cool air are blowing out of it inside my Fractal R4 BP case with 4x 140mm fans in it, along with the CPU cooler.

A really aesthetically pleasing CPU Cooler would be the Dark Rock 2, they seem kind of somewhat difficult to find. I don't believe there are any through Newegg. They would probably be right up your alley if you could find one.

I do like the NH-D14 thus far though even though I haven't really stressed tested it at all with regards to cooling my CPU.

Your build has many of the same/similar components as myself.

I use the Phanteks with Scythe Slipstream 110 CFM fans.
