Do you have a budget in mind? The support on this forum is brilliant if you can be persuaded to build your own PC, which will ultimately give you control over aesthetics and function. Building your own PC also opens your mind to thinking about the long term when considering upgrades as opposed to just going out and buying a brand new system. Everyone starts somewhere.

I've seen some pretty builds at Dinopc.com, but couldn't tell you what their customer service is like...TheUnknownPC is very helpful in their advice whatever you chose if you can give us something to work with in regards to budget etc :)

Where to start?
Case: decent
CPU: AMD FX 6300, very good overclocking cpu.
CPU cooler: AMD Liquid Cooler, That comes free with some CPU's. They charge you extra over the stock air cooler?
RAM: 2x4GB Corsair or major brand. OK, Whats a major brand, probably not Corsair, is it Cas9 or more likely Cas 11.
GPU: AMD R7-260X, what? no brand name reliable, quiet, overclocked multifan card?
Free stuff: headset? McAfee (sorry, hold on a sec, laughing) and a game?
Motherboard: Its a 970 chipset, not awful, but a very basic board with a little of everything. 2x pci slots?.
PSU: OCZ ModXStream 500, a tier3 psu that means it barely makes the ATX standards. Buy a new one in >3 years.
HDD: 1TB of un-named brand with 32MB cach instead of a WD or Seagate 1TB 64MB cache. That's cheap.
ODD: LG BluRay, not too shabby if its the 12x version, crappy if its the 4x version.
Audio: it comes on the mobo....
LAN: this too
OS: Windows 8.1 .....
Monitor: A 19" 1366x768 widescreen.... really? Your picture will look great.. what you can see of it.
3 year standard warranty: you break-tuff luck, we break-send it back (you pay),wait 6 weeks and we'll get back with you.

This is as close to build as I can come. This is what Retail, your parts would be. (Cheap brands where possible)
