Hello, entering the mechanical keyboard world after buying the reds but my problem was that I pressed them too easily when I rested my hands on them and my friend told me blue had more of a bump to get past before the key was actually registered. If this is true I am looking for a backlit cherry mx blue keyboard (full size) with a few extra keys for macros. If this isn't true what mechanical keyboard can give me that bump to get over before it registers?

I wasn't a huge fan of razer either until i bought a blackwidow tournament edition. It was my first mechanical keyboard and still one of my favourites.
Another keyboard thats worth a look is the ROCCAT Ryos MK Pro. Its a bit more expensive (US$169) but I've seen a lot of good reviews for it and its one of the few mechanical keyboards that have all the features you mentioned in the OP like the blue switches, backlighting and extra keys for macros.

Thank you, I will keep that in mind. However I never have been a fan of Razer products as they kinda over-advertise and try to appeal to the "hardcore gamerzzz!!1" side of pcgaming; however I really appreciate your input on the blue switches. Do you own one yourself?

EDIT: I didn't make this clear but I am still willing to buy a Razer product after looking at this page: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/mechanical-keyboard-razer-logitech-gigabyte,3505-8.html

The high actuation really calls to me, will update soon
