I have my fx 8350 on an asus m5a99fx pro board at 5.2ghz, stable all 8 cores. Run photoshop, vegas, and a third $200 i cant remember the name. As well as rockwell automation plc software, autocad 3d, and solid works. My cpu is at 100% usage for the better part of the day, id say no less than 6 hours during the week. My temps are high, but i dont think dangerous. Cpu according to hw monitor is at 65 degrees on the motherboard section, and 50's according to processor section.

But for cooling, i have XSPC d5 pump, on 180mm photon res, raytorm block (im on my second), 360mm radiator (front of case), 240mm radiator (top of case), all corsair 120mm pwm performance fans, plus like $100 more for fittings (shi!t's expensive). Think i spent just over $600 for cooling.

So money not a factor, you should be able to get your fx 8350 to 5.0-5.2 but you'll need 1.48-1.52 volts and a HEAVY DUTY custom liquid cooling setup.

Oh, I'd recommend adding more ram, and getting a autocad approved (autocad driver approved) graphics card as it will make a HUGE difference, if moneys no object. I believe the w7000 series workstation card is about $650 and renders like a dream and from what ive watched it performs somewhat similar to a amd radeon 7850 for gaming. (which is very reasonable considering)
