So I received this card today from a friend who got his use out of it. I want to utilize it and the only machine I have that could possibly live up to it is dell poweredge 2900 server I got. It has 2x 3.0ghz quad core xeon processors, 20gb ram, and 1tb raid.

The power distribution board in my machine has has 2x 4peg ports and 1 8peg. Currently one of the 4pegs is being used for a dvd drive that I don't care for.

The machine only has 8x pci-e slots but I've modded them to fit 16x cards.

The psu is a 930w one, and I could add in a second one as well.

So where the pic-e cards are, there is I believe a north bridge with a heatsink. This gets extremely hot so I assume it would be bad to place th gpu over this area.
Only thing if I move it further down the line the gpu fan would not have a lot of space for airflow. I can take pictures. I also can cut out a hole into the metal body of this machine if needed.

Then with the power distribution board can I use these for powering the card? I am unsure.

Thank you for any help! I really hope to use this card, otherwise my next most "powerful" machine probably can't even power the card.
And no I don't have the money to build a machine around the graphics card, hence why I'm trying to put into my server.
