Have anyone tried CorrosionX or similar on Computer parts? Should I avoid it?

As the topic says, have anyone tried and got any results over corrosion, oxidation or anything like that? Will it ruin my rig although the site says it is recommended for eletronics therefore computers? Also does it help to prevent shorting?

Corrosion X - http://www.corrosionx.com/electronics.html

From site

CorrosionX helps your PC

Inside the case, wipe onto or into PCI card fingers and slots, memory card fingers and slots, SATA drive connections, DC power connections, fan connectors and header pins

Outside the case, wipe to apply to USB sockets, audio connectors, external drive connectors and the AC power connector

Dip PC cable ends into CorrosionX and wipe off excess with a soft cloth

Solution
Do not use it on your computer, it's a gimmicky thing and your components will not corrode without it. all you are really doing is adding another component into the system, thus more chance for failure, either due to a bad product, or poor application. this stuff looks like it will make your components rather oily (think of grease on a stovetop) and will make them sticky points for dust.

Ok then, thanks for the advice, I thought if applying would somehow improve the durability and quality of the parts in the long run by coating them with it, but as you said it would indeed raise the chances of failuring due to many other factors brought by product itself and the application would spread to the whole system since would be spraying on everything.
