so I received an evga 780ti in my gtx 780 box. the part number on the sticker that is placed on the card matches that of the box. however the part number on the card itself and the cooler are that of the 780ti. Come to find out, they sent me a 780ti. my dilemma however is that the serial code does not match my card. i know that the card is technically mine due to the federal trade act, but should they be required to send me a new serial number so i can warranty my new card?

that makes me slightly more confident. this is my first desktop pc. i have allways had Dell gaming laptops..... needless to say i have had to replace many many parts. so not having a warranty scares me.
