Hey there!

I am a newbie builder here, currently working on my first rig. Everything's plugged in and when I hit the power button on my case, everything comes to life. When I try I to power on my monitor, it says no signal no matter what port I'm plugged into. The monitor uses what looks like an HDMI on one end, DVI on the other. The HDMI is connected to the monitor and the DVI end is connected to the GPU.

I know the monitor works because I have plugged it into other things and it displays fine. I've tried using different ports on both my monitor and GPU and still no signal.

My build is:
FX 6300
Asus M5 A97 r2.0
Gigabyte Windforce gtx 760

The monitor is:
Asus V238H

It was so exciting to see everything power on except the monitor :( any ideas would be great.

do you have your mobo speaker plugged in, when you start your computer do you hear any beeps? or do you just hear the fans kick on, if so, remove all but one stick of ram, and try to start it again

are your gpus 8 and 6 ping power cables plugged in? if so and you have a modular power supply, check it to make sure its plugged to your psu too. if that doesnt work, remove the card and try to run your computer with your monitor plugged into the mobo

Yessir, made sure to check the pins. The graphics card itself is on. The fans are spinning around like everything is okay. Just "No Signal" displayed on my monitor no matter what HDMI port i'm plugged into. Thanks though!

It looks like there's no where for the monitor to plug into the mobo. No HDMI, DVI, or VGA to connect to on the mobo. Only the GPU.

*UPDATE - Apparently the motherboard is supposed to beep once if no issues are found? I have not heard a beep. I have reseated both the RAM and the GPU. Nothing yet.

Yessir, tried three so far. All have "No Signal" still.

The motherboard didn't come with its own speakers. Are there any alternatives?
