Looking for a cheap headset or mic, need help!

Week ago my speakers broke up and i went to shop and bought new one, which was mistake. I got seperate mic and speakers.. and i'm having hard time talking in games. I have to lean and mic isnt even good enought.. its broke. Genius mic-01a - this is the mic. Is there by any chance some little microphone that i can put to be near my mouth when i speak? If that doesn't exist than what's good headset for 12$.. i have no cash right now and i spend alot in steam(6hrs a day playing). Thanks

If you can save up some of your money, you can get a great headset for around $30. Lasts 2-4 years with a raging kid, I think it'll last you a while. It's got a great mic and sound quality, and as long as you have a USB slot open, it's a great solution.

Look for the Logitech H390. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/logitech-headphones-981000014

It's also at Office Depot, quick and local, but it costs about twice as much.
