Hi everyone one,
I'm just starting out in pc gaming and would like to build a pc (this would be my first time). So I was wondering which GPU runs better either the r9 270 or the Radeon 7870 Hd and

buy the R9 270 since it is an upgraded and better version of the HD 7870.
my personal advice would be to pay a little bit more and get the R9 270x

but could you post the rest of your specs? it may help us find unnecessary bottlenecks.

Well I was building a computer so my components are the following:
Mother board - Gigabyte GA-970A AM3+ ATX
Storage - Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 3.5" 1TB 64MB 7200RPM HDD (ST1000DM003)
RAM - GeIL 4GB Kit (2x2GB) DDR2 Black Dragon C5 800MHz (GB24GB6400C5DC)
CPU - MD AM3+ x6 FX-6300 3.5Ghz/6Core/14M/95W
and a 650Watt Power supply

The RAM you picked won't work with the motherboard, you need DDR3 RAM.

BF4 and Crysis on high will definitely work well.
especially BF4 with Mantle.
