Just keep in mind that you must do two things to make best use of the SSD
1) The PC's disk controllers must be in AHCI mode, not the ATA mode that is usually the default. If you have to change this, you will have to make a registry change first.
2) The SSD should be 4k aligned during the clone. Otherwise performance will be greatly degraded.
These are the short answers. If you are not familiar with the terms, anyone here (including me) would be happy to help you. Phillip is a good egg.
BTW, I always welcome a chance to reinstall my OS from scratch. Keeps things nice and clean! Different people have different preferences.
