I run win 7 and firefox. I can't seem to get recently added bookmarks intergrated into older bookmarks. How do I do this?

"Recently added bookmarks" is for information only, they are not intended to be added or copied anywhere. They should already be in your Bookmarks list.

This is not a solution. Bookmarks in win 7 are "favorites." So how do I integrate new favorites with older favorites?

Still not an answer. Again, I use win 7 and firefox. If I want to keep a website I've gone to, I bookmark it. When I add a new bookmark and save and arrange it alphabetically it goes to a new list at the bottom of older bookmarks. When I try to merge the two bookmark lists alphabetically it doesn't happen.

Try using CTRL-SHIFT-B to open your bookmarls. I think unsorted bookmarks show seperate then the others. Click/drag bookmarks from unsorted and place them in the tree elsewhere.
Other than that, I see nowhere in firefox where it lists them as "favorites". You may have a plugin or addon, or theme that is effecting the way you are viewing bookmarks.

Sounds like you have an addon toolbar that uses 'favorites', if you can find where they are kept should be able to integrate
