Hi guys new to the board and newish to the building, done my fair share of upgrades but this is the first from scratch and i would like some suggestions and or hints/tips.

after some research i have temporarily decided on the main components:
Case
Corsair 800D
http://www.corsair.com/en-us/obsidian-series-800d

Fans X4
Noctua NF-P14 FLX
http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=productview&products_id=33&lng=en

CPU cooling
Corsair h100i
http://www.corsair.com/en-us/hydro-series-h100i-extreme-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler

MotherBoard
Z87-GD65 GAMING
http://uk.msi.com/product/mb/Z87GD65_GAMING.html#overview

CPU
Intel Core i5-4670K, 4x 3.40GHz
http://ark.intel.com/products/65520/Intel-Core-i5-3570K-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_80-GHz

Graphics Card
N770 TF 2GD5/OC (GeForce GTX 770 GAMING)
http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N770_TF_2GD5OC.html#overview

RAM
Crucial Ballistix Smart Tracer 8 GB
http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspecs.aspx?imodule=BLT2CP4G3D1608DT2TXOBCEU

SSD
Samsung 840 EVO 128GB
http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/memory-cards-hdd-odd/ssd/840-evo/MZ-7TE500BW

now i plan on oc the cpu to around 4.4-4.6GHz, and am concidering sli on the gpu

i was thinking of reusing my PSU (corsair gs800 2013 edition http://www.corsair.com/en-us/gs-series-gs800-80-plus-bronze-certified-power-supply-2013-edition) but am not sure if it can handle the system above

also im not entirely in love with the case and would love suggestions on that front

my focus is quiet gaming, preferably able to run games like skyrim at top levels and football manager like games with large custom databases without running out of memory.

also any suggestions on peripherals such as fan controllers, card readers etc would be welcome.

sound cards need to have jack and rca connectors as i use it for music aswell as gaming

p.s. budget is between 1,000 and 2,000 preferably on the lower end of the scale

For half the price you can get the 750D. That case is extremely expensive. If you're planning on SLI in the future, get the 4GB variant of the 770. Right off the bat, if you want quiet, you won't need 4x case fans, a front and rear/top would be sufficient. And if you want quiet, get the Noctua D14 CPU cooler, and not a water cooler.

That PSU is a great PSU and will be sufficient for SLI of the 770s as well, so you're good there.

At this budget, unless you really are wanting to stay cheaper, I would go with the 4770k and a 780, but your call lol

I added a monitor, keyboard and OS. Couldn't tell if you had that stuff.

I put in 2 x 2GB 760s in SLI, considering the price difference and your wish to save money. If you plan on gaming across 3 monitors, I think you'd want to go straight for the 770 4GB.rather than SLI 2 x 2GB 770s.

I'm still exploring all this stuff myself, and HiTech will know much much more across the board.

The fractal design case is BIG. Lots of room for everything, it's what I plan on getting for my first build to give me room to upgrade over the next few years. Hopefully starting next month after I move.
