Hey guys, I've been trying to fix this issue for days now, simply put, my computer (running windows 7 64 bit) refuses to connect to any wired lan network after I updated the driver for one of my NICs, reporting unidentified network for all the networks I've tried.

I've:
checked the ethernet cable with another pc, and tried a different cable
tried recovering the pc and reinstalling the old drivers
tried a different NIC (ordered a wireless one which should arrive tomorrow as well)
tried ipconfig release/renew
tried netsh int ip reset C:\resetlog.txt
tried assigning a static ip address, default gateway etc
many many restarts of the pc and router
reset the router to factory defaults
tried Disabling IPv6
tried Changing my MAC address
made sure I have no apple software running (bonjour mainly -_-)
done a virus scan

and a few more solutions I can't think of at the moment, I'm also currently backing up one of my harddrives so I can wipe it and test a fresh install of windows. Any suggestions would be more than welcome.

Here is my Ip config (with ethernet cable plugged into Local area connection 2):

the cable is fine, I've tested it with other pc's, and it's currently plugged into a brand new network card that shouldn't be shorting it out, it is definitely plugged in, and detecting that a cable is there, as soon as I plug it in it tries to identify the network.
