You'll notice a tremendous difference in performance with a PNY GTX 770 at $309(!). Otherwise, most GTX 760s run in that price range. The EVGA GTX 760 Superclocked is a good option.

What kind of power supply do you have?

I would recommend a GeForce GTX 660sc, you'll get your money's worth and won't have to worry about clocking. (unfortunately it's a little loud) If you want more power, maybe go for a 760 or 670, they have better clocking and are a lot quieter.

Anything from a 660 to a 770 will give you great performance at 1080p. Will advise you to steer clear of PNY and their misleading, virtually inexistent warranty policies. Their coolers are mostly reference and when they're not, they are sketchy to say the least.
