I recently bought a new computer, and now my 5Ghz network won't show up for my adapter. It's the same adapter and network I was using with my old computer, so why will it not show up now?
On a separate note, I'm using the 2.4Ghz network right now, but it somehow set it to a public network, which seems to be causing some issues. I can't figure out how to change it to private. I'm using windows 8, and the options don't seem to be in the control panel, and if I navigate the pop out menu to the list of available networks, it won't allow me to right click on my network for additional options, even though I've seen screenshots of this when looking for fixes. Any ideas?
