I was wondering what would be the best choice as far as reliabilty because i know they are basically the same. and the hp has a 17" screen. im just wondering which one i should pick. I was thinking of going hp bc i have had luck with there laptops but i heard lenovo and asus are up there as well. and i also heard hp laptops dont have as great cooling, bc i plan on doing light gaming like diablo 3

Between those 3 in terms of quality, I have a hard time deciding between the Lenovo and the Asus. Lenovo's quality is really good nowadays and Asus has always been good. Also, the HP one looks like it has a shiny surface, which is a fingerprint magnent.

Technically, the Lenovo one has the best specs (it has 2gb more ram than the Asus) and both Lenovo and Asus have more hdd space (250gb more) than the HP.

Having a 17.3" screen (HP) will just be more draining on the battery, and look a little worse if the resolution is still the same as on the 15.6" screens (Lenovo, Asus). I don't see any specific resolutions stated, but I would assume they are all either 1366x768 or 1600x900.

Long story short, I think the Lenovo model is your best bet. As an added bonus, it is the cheapest with the best combination of specs according to the listed information.

Oh LOL. I thought something looked fishy about the two. But there STILL was a minor difference in Ram between the lenovo and "asus." Anyways, go with the lenovo, its a better buy imo.

Good find. I didn't know you would be able to go to a microcenter (their prices are 'nigh unbeatable!). That laptop is a much better value especially since you're going to be looking to game.
