Ok... I'm looking for a laptop mainly for school and work purposes, but I also play the sims 3 with all expansion packs (sometimes for hours). I have a budget of around $1200. What is a good laptop that will last me several years?
On a side note, I found some posts about Sims 3 causing hardware in your computer to run at full speed instead of only using the power it actually needs and can damage the laptop. People suggest adding more software to help the problem. Is there a laptop that will correct this problem, or one that will be designed to handle it running full throttle without damage? I know when I currently play on my desktop, my computer is louder than it is any other time, like the fan it running full out...
