When I power on my PC I get two beeps and then no more, and the monitor just goes into sleep (orange light). My manual for the motherboard doesn't say anything about two beeps. It says:
One short beep = VGA Detected, Quick boot set to disabled, no keyboard detected
One continuous beep followed by two short beeps then a pause (repeated) = No memory detected
One continuous beep followed by three short beeps = No VGA detected
One continuous beep followed by four short beeps = Hardware component failure

The HDMI cable is in the video card and monitor. Maybe the HDMI cable is faulty?

Solution
Yeah, that's basically what I said. Glad to know the shop confirmed it.
The reason your RAM isn't on the compatibility list is simply because there is too much possibly compatible ram out there for the company to test, so there will always be plenty of perfectly compatible ram left off the list.

A much better list would be one of all the ram that is actually Incompatible with the boards.
Yeah, if you haven't, try unplugging the HDMI cable and replugging it on both ends... but the computer wouldn't beep at you about that....

Does your motherboard have onboard graphics? if so try using that.

Posting your actual EXACT system specs (motherboard name and model number, gfx model number, cpu model#, ram model#) will help alot as well.

Yeah I saw two were black and two were blue. I paired them both up in the black slot this time and still no show. The HDMI cord is good cause when I unplug it from the video card I seen a notification on my monitor saying "HDMI No Cable Connected!". I heard I could take out the video card and then boot it up but how would I get display on my monitor!? lol, the HDMI and VGA are on the video card, though I wouldn't mind trying something like that /=

It could be your video card. I'm assuming this is a newly built PC, your card could be faulty. Got any friends with PCs you can test the card in?
If not might have to RMA it...
You could take the video card out if you had onboard graphics.

Check which BIOS version you have: https://www.asus.com/support/Article/563/
Your CPU is only supported on BIOS 1006 and above.

The picture in the link for BIOS revision looks like it's shown on a monitor, but I can't get to there /= However i'm sure my CPU is supported because on the box of the motherboard it shows a picture of "UNLOCKED FX AMD" and shows AM3+. As well as on the motherboard it shows "FX CPU Supported"

yes, but there are multiple FX CPUs: 4xxx 6xxx 8xxx.
It has support for the 4 ones off the bat, but maybe not yours, like the mobo you bought had been sitting around for a while, while new processors came out. The other picture showed where it should be located on the MOBO itself, try and look at if you can.

Hmm..... I want to say your BIOS are outdated.... but how to update it without a compatible CPU is unknown to me.
...
...
A bad CPU might also not post.

The first BIOS version for your board is 0208, and your CPU isn't supported until 1006.
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97_LE_R20/#support

Hmm but since it's an R2.0 board... it shouldn't have that issue...

Could it be my memory that is faulty? I was looking in the manual for the motherboard it didn't show under "DDR3 1600 MHz capability" my memory sticks. I have ADATA 8GB DDR3 1600 (4GB x 2) and the part number is AX3U1600W4G9-DB which I don't see in the manual?

Found out what's wrong! I called the store and they said it's most likely my CPU which isn't accepted on my motherboard because of an older BIOS version, so they said they will put in a older CPU and update the BIOS then put my one back in and it should all be good :) I believe you said that to right? That I need to update the BIOS

Thank you! Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks this. Far easier to allow even end users to report incompatible as it comes along (ala, open source reports for Linux compatible hardware).

Cheers
