Looks good, have you considered buying extra case fans? Usually cases only come with a couple, so might be worth buying a few more to fill up the case to keep temps down. Also, may be worth just waiting until you have enough money for the i5, instead of buying an i3 just to replace it in a month.

Yes I have, the 120mm fans are quite cheap so I'm sure that would be no problem. Do you think it's worth getting a CPU cooler? Good idea I might wait for the i5, cheers :)

it's never a bad idea as having a cooler cpu is always good, but it is only needed if you plan to OC, which you most likely are not.

The coolermaster hyper212 is a good, cheap cooler with the xigmatek gaia being a slightly more and slightly better cooler.

If I were you then I'd buy it without an aftermarket cooler and if it gets way too hot then consider buying one, no point spending money on something you might not need. From the look of the set up it shouldn't get too hot, as long as you're not planning on overclocking. Also, that money could be used just to get the i5.

My build seems a lot more higher spec than yours and its come to about £580ish so far (some prices I got for cheaper)
But it seems pretty solid!

I only say this as I think you could save a bit longer and get a lot more :)

Thank you, my friends tell me Intel is better than AMD and I've seen some benchmarks that Intel stands out in but that is the only reason why I'm not going AMD. The graphics card I have chosen can run battlefield on high settings apparently and has great reviews. It really depends on what you will be doing. anyway nice build :)

Go with the brand you want, I have an amd processor but I'm planning on getting a laptop with an intel i7 4700mq.
Most people are just fanboys of one of the other, but the only difference is price to performance ratio.
