Hi there.
I seem to be in a sticky spill, I tried inserting a my molex's 12v power to my monitor's 12v 3a power input (Samsung BX2031) and it must've been too much and the monitor made a popping sound and red smoke came out of it.
Now I know many people will say throw it away but I do know about caps/fuses that blow inside the monitors when there is too much current passing through, to avoid damage, and they can easily be replaced and the monitor will work fine, I'd just like to know if its the same thing this time?
Thanks
