So I finally decided to jump on a good SSD deal and I want to replace my boot HDD with it. That being said my secondary HDD has all my Steam and Origin games installed on it.

Is it possible to do a fresh install of WIn7 on the SSD and still use the games on the secondary HDD without having to re-download them all (Almost a TB worth)?

I really would like to avoid cloning because I feel that a fresh install is need since this PC hasn't had one since Win7 came out.

Although I've not tried it, I think Origin has a similar function.

I just did the same as you and started migrating games over. Steam is hit or miss depending on the game. Now as for Origin I only play Titanfall now so it's the only one I have experience with but, what I did was just copy the entire game folder located in Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Titanfall and create the same path on the new SSD then reinstall origin onto the new SSD as well and it can be run right from there, no need to dl anything.
