Looking to utilize the combo below from newegg, and need some opinions or suggestions on a core upgrade and looking to stay within the same costs.

Newegg or amazon prefered only sites I can get free shipping to Hawaii.

If you like AMD, for sure get that first combo from Newegg. The second one, the GTX 660 is getting a bit on the old side. If you can hold out, maybe you can get a better deal on a gpu or get a GTX 750Ti.

Old i7-920 /w gtx 260. It will be used for work and gaming if time permits, slowed down a lot past few years.

Yah i was also looking at GTX 760 or the R9 270. Maybe I should wait for a deal to roll around.
