Please help. I have two separate Intel SSD, C is for the OS and programs, and D is for Data. I wanted to replace D drive with a Samsung 840 Evo Pro. I tried the Data Migration software but it will only allow source as drive C. I cannot change the source i.e. choosing drive D instead. I tried copy and paste from the D drive to the new Samsung SSD; however, when I restarted the computer it would not boot into the log in screen. It said non-OS, which is weird because drive C is still in there. This computer is running Windows Server 2008 R2. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Hmmm, it had been like a year or so ago so I don't remember; however, what you are saying makes sense. May be I did have both Intel SSD's in there when I installed the OS, so you think that the OS installed part of it into drive D? Then, pray tell, if there is a way for me to change the Intel drive D to the Samsung Evo Pro and be able to boot up? Intel drive D, the data drive, is what holding all my data :) and I just wanted to change it to a faster drive i.e. the Samsung SSD.
