May be a stupid question, but i cant find a solid answer with good old Google. So, can a VGA cable carry HD video signal? I assume it can because there are VGA to HDMI converters, so that implies that vga can carry hd signal, right, or does it just take a smaller resolution analog signal and make it digital or something? I ask because i want to connect three devices to my 1080p monitor, one via HDMI, another via DVI, and the third via VGA, and i want all of them to put out a full HD 1080p (not 1080i). I just dont want to have to switch cables all the time, but if it is absolutely necessary i can always just buy like an HDMI or DVI hub i guess. So can VGA carry full HD video and output it at full hd?
Thanks!
