I won't have that few euro I'm gonna need for a 280X so I'll have to go for the little brother 270X.

I was wondering if the 270X can match up the performance of a 280X if the 270X is overclocked. Else, is GTX 760 or GTX 660 more worth performance / price wise ?

Solution
The difference is 20 FPS, but if all you care about is smooth game play than you'll be alright with the 270. If you know you aren't going to be happy without that 280 you might as well just save up your money for a little while and get it. To be honest a GTX 760 will outperform the 270 by about 10fps and then the gtx 770 will beat the 280 as well and is only a few euro more. My advice is save up for the gtx 770 or just get the 760.

Here's a nice benchmark chart for you...

Thank you. That was helpfull. I have the R9 280X, I guess, or the GTX 770. So, I've seen the power requirements are about the same. Some guy made a review / benchmark on the PSU I have, and it told me 280X or 770GTX should work fine without overclock on my PSU. My PSU is an Sirtec High Power Element Bronze 85% efficiency with 2 rails of V12+ on 20A each (40A total), 500W. The guy did tests with 2 Radeon HD 6950 moded with the bios of 6970, in crossfire, and only then he said he threw the PSU at the maximum potential.

So... what you think ? Am I gonna be fine ? I have FX-6300, 1 module of DDR3, another one I'll buy soon, 6 case fans + 1 CPU fan, one sata hdd, no dvd-rw. I think I should be fine.

If you're asking if your power supply is big enough, I would say yea probably. Your cpu is not going to draw more than 75w and a GTX 770's max is 230w so you're only at about 300w. Should be just fine.
