How well does the Razer tartarus perform in a first-person shooter? I'm thinking about buying one but I want to know if it would be a good buy given what I will be using it for.

More about : gaming keypad shooters

My ex college roommate uses a Nostromo (the earlier version of the Tartarus) and loves it. It works really well if you take the time to configure your profiles for each game accordingly. I would personally recommend the Orbweaver over it though. Mechanical keys are more sturdy and the extra row along the top is helpful since you lose the number row on other keypads (only 3 rows instead of 4)

So far I haven't gotten one. I've found myself adapting to the keyboard so I probably won't end up getting one.
