Alcatel Onetouch L100V & 4G Router Combatibility

Hi,

My Name is Nick and my Question is this :

My ISP witch is Cosmote ( I live in Greece ) provided me with an Alcatel Onetouch L100V Usb modem. It works fine when connected directly to a usb port on my pc but since i want to set up a small network i would like to buy a 4G router to connect the Usb stick to and then connect all my devices to the router.

I have been looking at the following routers :
1. TP-LINK TL-MR3220 - 27,47 €
2. TP-LINK TL-MR3420 - 36,20 €
3. D-Link DWR-116 - 44,18 €

The problem is none of them has the Alcatel L100V on its combatibility list. Will it work if i buy any of them ? Or can you suggest me a cheap one that will do the job ?

Hi...
I'm in Portugal and my ISP provided me an Alcatel Onetouch L100V as well; I have just bought a TP-Link TL-MR3420, but haven't managed to make them work together.
Did you end up buying one of the TP-Links and were you able to make the Alcatel modem work with it?

Yes i managed to make it work using the TL-MR3220.
I called my ISP to give me instructions on how to do it so maybe you should do the same i guess ...
In my case the only thing i had to do was to set the region to Greece and the APN ( Access Point Name ) to "internet" Aparently yours will be different :)
Also dont forget to enter your PIN.

There is no selection for Greece by default !
You have to do it manually :(
