Task Manager opened randomly and then closed?

I was browsing Google images and out fo no where without me pressing anything task manager opened up and then a split second later closed by itself.. Any idea what could have caused this to happen??

Yes, hacker or virus.

Disconnect yourself from the internet
Run virus scan in safe mode
Change your wifi password
Change your user password
If still happening, fresh install windows

Are you sure it may be a virus as it has only happened once earlier today? Thats also what I think, I just came on here to see some other possiblities.

I mean you are welcome to keep using the system and observe if anything else strange is going on, but I would not cuz they can be taking your data right now.

Either way, a scheduled virus scan is always recommended for at least once a week. Make sure in safe mode or the anti-virus' own rescue mode.

Running a scan now, will update this when done if Ive found anything that could've caused this

I would still change the wifi password and user password if you can.

I did all that, yes. I also googled "task manager opens on its own" And it seems nobody else has had this happen to them, very strange, I guess ill just toss this in the computer fart bin.

My last recommendation is to not input any data sensitive information on that system anymore, much trouble awaits if it's actually hacker or virus behind this.
