FX 6300
600W CX PSU
8GB RAM
1TB HDD
Windows 8.1
Using HDMI and a flat screen:
I can get the display to show in Windows just fine, but when I installed the drivers it flashed black a couple times (as it should) but then it simply displayed "Unsupported" on the TV, however the BIOS will show, making me think it's a resolution issue. I had to reinstall Windows for it to show up again.
Using DVI cable on a monitor:
BIOS doesn't even show up on it. The monitor just goes to sleep. Plugging the monitor into a laptop works though.
*Note: For the monitor on the PC I had to use a VGA to DVI converter
Should the GPU get returned or are there other tests I should do?
